Ron believes we are stronger together. He is dedicated to helping clients achieve success at an independent level, he is also dedicated to seeing the local community of Pocatello and state achieve success. Ron has been an active member of the local community for over 45 years. Additionally, he is currently involved with the Board of Directors for the Idaho State University Bengal Foundation.

Away from the office, Ron enjoys exercising and gardening. A family man first, he is proud to be married to Rose, his wife of 44 years, and together they have two successful children and four beautiful grandchildren.

For 36 years Mike McAteer, Senior Partner and Co-Founder of Gateway Capital Advisory Group, has been helping families and individuals manage the unique challenges and opportunities associated with significant wealth. Mike understands clients who have worked hard to create their own success and strives to help them maximize their most valuable resource: time.

Mike truly cares about his clients; Many of the clients Mike serves are generational. He provides a wealth management experience aligned with exceptional service and strategic guidance for long term success. Simple and straightforward philosophies drive his business: Is it Legal? Is it Ethical? Is it the Truth? Does it Make Sense? He and his team are unyielding to these directives.

Mike attributes much of his 'common sense' approach and strong family values instilled in him to his parents. Born and raised in Eastern Idaho Mike was raised to have strong moral values and a good work ethic, with a thirst for knowledge Mike is a voracious consumer of business and economic news. "I have a good healthy curiosity about everything," Mike says.

Mike and his beautiful wife of 45 years, Lisa, have been blessed with three children, two granddaughters, and two grandsons. A Pocatello native, Mike is a true enthusiast for life. He balances structure with a little spontaneity. In his spare time, he enjoys woodworking and is an accomplished cyclist.

With 36 years of experience in financial services, David is dedicated to helping individuals meet their financial needs by developing investment plans around their long-term goals and risk tolerance. His extensive experience - throughout major shifts in the markets - enables him to help his clients structure balanced portfolios to address their specific financial goals.

David began his financial services career as a Stock Broker with Kidder Peabody in the late eighties. In 1999, he joined a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo where he spent 23 years as a Financial Advisor, Branch Manager, Complex Manager, and Market Leader. David then moved his financial practice to Wells Fargo Advisors independent channel in 2022 to focus exclusively on clients and their goals.

David is a proud graduate of the University of Utah, 1988 with degrees in Economics and Statistical Analysis.  He holds the following securities registrations, Series 7, 9, 10, 31, 63, and 65.

Away from the office, David enjoys skiing, golfing and has a passion for cars and motorcycles. His better half, Adrienne and him split their time between New Mexico and Idaho. They have three grown children and look forward to working and playing hard for many years to come.

Born and raised in Pocatello, Heather is proud to serve the community she grew up in, as well as clients across the country. Her journey in the financial services industry began in 2008, and she became a licensed financial advisor in 2018. With a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an Accredited Asset Management Specialist certification, Heather brings a well-rounded perspective to her clients' financial needs. She cherishes the opportunity to guide clients through complex financial issues and places a strong emphasis on building trust and fostering transparency. She believes that open and honest communication is the foundation of a successful financial partnership, and she is dedicated to ensuring that her clients feel confident and empowered in every step of their financial journeys. 

When she’s not in the office, Heather is a devoted mother to three amazing kids and brings those same nurturing and multitasking skills motherhood has taught her into her professional life.

Nick Fullmer is an energetic and innovative Financial Advisor born and raised in Pocatello. With a deep understanding of the financial landscape and the specific needs of diverse clients, Nick is uniquely positioned to help guide individuals from his hometown and across the country towards their financial goals. While he combines contemporary strategies with traditional wisdom to help review personalized investment plans, Nick is all about delivering the highest quality service with an approach as fresh and energetic as he is.

Nick strives to create a stress-free financial future for our clients, and he dedicates himself to making this belief a reality. When he isn't crafting financial strategies, Nick is a familiar face in the community. Whether he's cheering on Idaho State University sports teams, mingling at Revive @ 5, or working on his golf swing, his enjoyment of learning from and sharing knowledge with others shines through.

Jana Cusack began her career in the Financial Industry in 2005 at A. G. Edwards (a predecessor form of Wells Fargo Advisors) in Pocatello, Idaho. During this time the industry was very client centered and heavily dependent on old school client service. There was a growing need to embrace new technology while still keeping the core of the business focused on taking care of the client first.

Jana’s client first background resonates still today in an ever more technology driven industry. She has grown into her current role as Senior Registered Associate by mastering the many complexities of our constantly changing business. She is always willing to engage a new challenge or to grind through a tedious detailed task requiring her full attention to detail and accuracy. Jana has successfully passed the challenging Series 7 registration and all the necessary certification exams. She now serves as a Senior Registered Associate for Gateway Capital Advisory Group.

Her life is well rounded as a mother of two children with a devoted husband of 28 years. She clearly understands what is important in her life as she maintains her family first but is fiercely loyal to her work family and our wonderful clients.

To round out her world, Jana finds enjoyment in her time spent with a circle of close friends. Her interests are diverse and include hiking, biking, jeeping, camping and general socializing with a group of close knit lifelong genuine friends.

Crena is just beginning her career in the Financial Services Industry with Gateway Capital but brings an energy and experience well suited to our office!  Crena previously enjoyed success in banking, customer service, and processing complex documents. Most importantly she shares our passion for creating the ultimate client experience!

Crena was born and raised in Pocatello and after spending sixteen years in Boise is thrilled to be back home surrounded by friends and family.  Crena is the proud mother of two boys, Lucan and Patrick. 

Always looking for the next outdoor adventure, Crena spends her free time in the mountains and teaching dance.

Correna Starr, Senior Client Associate began her career in finance with AG Edwards and Sons, a predecessor firm of Wells Fargo Advisors, in 2006.  The names of the firms have changed but Correna has been a constant in the lives of the clients she serves. Correna has a passion for facilitating great client experiences.  For Correna the client comes first, always.

Correna is completely devoted to family. Grandchildren are her thing!  In the past year she has gained 9 new grandchildren ranging from newborn to 16 years of age.  She had only 5 prior to 2024 and is overwhelmed with gratitude and joy.  In her spare time Correna loves spending time with her family and friends rockhounding, camping, fishing, biking and putting.
