Volunteering at the Idaho Food Bank
Our team was happy to spend another day volunteering at the Idaho Food Bank, helping sort and prepare food for families throughout our community. This volunteer day was especially meaningful as it was our last opportunity to work alongside Shaela Schenk before she transitions to a new role within the organization. We are grateful for her collaboration and we wish her all the best in her new position! We will certainly miss volunteering with her.

Supporting Aids for Friends
Ron Gallegos, Senior Investment Officer and Partner, and Mike McAteer, Senior Investment Officer and Partner, recently helped support the “Aids for Friends” organization in Pocatello by securing a brand-new stove for the facility. This contribution will help the organization continue preparing meals and serving individuals in need throughout the community.

Socktober Donation
This October, our team united around a simple but meaningful goal: to bring warmth and comfort to those in need. We donated 169 pairs of socks to The Valley Mission, a local organization doing vital work supporting individuals and families experiencing homelessness or hardship. We’re proud to support this cause and grateful to the Valley Mission for all the ways they serve our community.

Our team spent the day at the Idaho Food Bank bagging red pears for families in need. It’s always meaningful to step away from our desks and give back—together.
A huge thank you to Shaela Schenk, our incredible contact who helped us get everything organized, and to Kyle Peck, who gave us an awesome and informative tour of the facility. We truly appreciate the work you both do to support the community!

ISU F.A.T. Scramble
On Saturday June 21st 2025 Ron Gallegos along with fellow ISU Alum Chase Gallegos, and friends Bill McCarter, and Darrel Borrowman enjoyed a day of Golf to support Idaho State University F.A.T (Football Alumni Team) Scramble. The purpose for this event is to raise money for the athletes to have access to summer workouts, coaching, and summer living expenses.. The money raised allows the team to build their rapport for the upcoming year, and has pushed Idaho State University to have one of the best summer school programs in the league. We can’t wait to cheer our Bengals on in the Fall. Go Bengals.

Supporting Our Local Wetlands Exhibit
Gateway Capital Advisory Group assisted in the reconstruction of the community wetlands exhibit at Zoo Idaho by helping remove sand to prepare for a newly paved walking path—making the area more accessible to all visitors.
Led by zookeeper Peter Pruett and joined by enthusiastic young volunteer Lucan, the project was a hands-on effort to restore and improve this vital educational and environmental space.

Bengals in Boise Golf Tournament
On June 7th, Ron Gallegos, Senior Investment Officer and Partner, and Nick Fullmer, Financial Advisor, hit the links in support of their alma mater and the Idaho State Women’s Golf Team. Along with ISU Alumni Taylor Howell and Chase Gallegos, the Bengals in Boise Tournament is held annually as a fundraiser in support of ISU women's golf. With each swing, they helped advance opportunities for student-athletes and strengthened the connection between alumni and the university.

Blood Donation with the American Red Cross
Jana Cusack, Senior Registered Associate, and Crena Gossett, Client Associate, spent their lunch hour supporting a local blood drive to help address the urgent blood shortage the American Red Cross is currently facing.

Visit to the Idaho Food Bank
Our team had the privilege of volunteering at the Idaho Foodbank, where we came together to box and label 1,500 meals for individuals and families in need. It was a meaningful and rewarding experience, and we’re already looking forward to our next visit!

Partnering with the Pocatello Zoo
David Nelson, Financial Advisor and his wife Adrienne teamed up with the zookeepers at the Pocatello Zoo to help prepare for the exciting launch of the 2025 season. While there, David made a special new friend—Rosie! Next time you visit the Pocatello Zoo, be sure to stop by and say hello to her!

Ringing the Bell Event with The Salvation Army
We had an incredible time at our Ringing the Bell event with The Salvation Army on December 16th, 2024! Singing carols and spreading holiday cheer in front of Fred Meyer was such a joy. It was heartwarming to see so many familiar faces and share festive wishes with our community.
